Cons: The typical Utah split entry, smallish (only 1500+ sq. feet), ugly wallpaper, ugly tiki-hut wood panneling, ugly carpet, fence needs repair/replacing, way out west.
Pros: seemingly good neighborhood, large yard (.23 acres) with pretty good landscaping, new kitchen cabinets, 2 car garage, affordable, new deck, spot for a garden, fireplace, bigger than our apartment, and it would be ours.
We plan to close on the 10th of December. Grab a moving box, a paintbrush and c'mon over. We'll buy the pizza!

I hope it all works out for you. What a Christmas Present. You should know that I adore you as well. I look forward to meeting Joshua and getting to know how wonderful he is. Because of course he must be if he married you. By the way the fact that the house has room for a garden is a huge plus in my book. The kitchen looks super tiny though.
Even if it was more current on the decor, changing it to YOUR style is always satisfying. How fun!! And for the SL valley, that is a decent size yard, congrats guys!
It's perfect! I can't wait to come check it out and see your personal touches and eat dinner made from your garden.
since I'm not so hot on the hauling boxes or maneuvering to paint and there are no children to supervise... how about I do the pizza???
Splint entry isn't BAD, it's just not practical for moving furnature in and out. Once it's in, it's fine :) I'm excited to come and see it!!
Congratulations, Heather! Such a big milestone in your lives!! Can't wait to come see it and help paint/move/eat pizza.
